There are essential two types of people in the world:
1.) Money Magnets-these are people who are able to attract money almost effortlessly. They hardly ever worry about money, and are financially free by the time they retire.
2.) Money Repellents-these are people who, despite their best efforts, never have enough money. They constantly worry about money, and financial freedom eludes them throughout their lives.
Probably not hard for you to guess that over 95% of people fall into the Second Category.
What is hard for most though is the realization that this type of thoughts are a combination of a lifetime of financial misinformation and conditioning by your parents, your role models, your teachers, the media and the government. Spiritual people may refer to this as “generational curses.”
These thoughts have held so many of us back. Especially those of us who grew up like I did and were taught negative ways of thinking about money. For instance DOES ANY OF THESE STATEMENTS SOUND FAMILIAR?
1.) You can only be as rich as your career or industry allows you to be.
2.) The amount of money you make is directly related to the value you can offer the world
3.) Hard work is the only path to wealth and success.
NONE OF THESE STATEMENTS ARE TRUE!
If your career is the sole determining factor of your wealth….
Why do some odd job workers retire richer than some doctors and lawyers?
If the value you can offer to the world is so important…
How do you explain casino moguls, drug dealers and scam artist who get rich without truly helping a single soul?
If hard work is guaranteed to get money…
Why do some people spend their entire lives slogging away working a back breaking 8 to 5, only to realize they’re worse off than people who retired at 40?
These false rules hide in your subconscious.
They hold you back from your dreams….
They push you to make poor financial decisions…
They stop you from investing money in the right places and BLIND YOU TO THE OPPORTUNITIES SURROUNDING YOU!
